The objective is to let you hear music exactly like how the artist and the artists audio engineer(s) intended it to sound. The equalizer exists to correct differences in loudness across the audio spectrum caused by the speakers, the rooms acoustics, et cetera. The bass should be just as loud as the mid should be just as loud as the treble. Im just not sure which ones are any good. Being that I dont know how the hell to best use the EQ Id rather download some other ones.
